Description

Client of Nelson Chambers seeking to add Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor to their existing and strong offering in this area. 

To be successful in this application, you will be required to have at least one years experience fee-earning, with knowledge and skills in the following;

Statutory Lease Extensions 

• The solicitor’s client base will be predominantly tenant-side, although some landlord side instructions may be sourced. 

• The solicitor will be expected to run statutory lease extension files from beginning to end:-  Preparation of Section 42 Notice ,Receipt of Section 45 Notice, Approval of draft lease, Assisting in agreement of premium, Preparation and submission of FTT application, Complying with FTT directions, Issuing court claim if not completed within statutory completion deadline 

Collective Enfranchisement 

• The solicitor’s client base will be predominantly tenant-side, although some landlord side instructions may be sourced. 

• The solicitor will be expected to run collective enfranchisement files from beginning to end:- 

o Preparation of participation agreement, if applicable o Preparation of Section 13 Notice 

o Receipt of Section 21 Notice 

o Preparation of contract and transfer o Assisting in agreement of premium 

o Preparation and submission of FTT application 

o Complying with FTT directions 

o Issuing court claim if not completed within statutory completion deadline
